Disk Burner or Software Not Found

I cannot burn a playlist on a CD. I did not have this problem before. Last Sunday, I was able to burn playlists on to CDs. I do not know what happened.

I know that there is a lot of discussions out there right now and I have been trying them but I am still having trouble.

The CD diagnostic is below. I am running registry editor as an admistrator and following the directions on here:

http://www.gearsoftware.com/wiki/index.php?title=DRIVERS:_Windows_-_Updating%2C_ removing%2C_64_bit_versions%2C_etc

but I do not understand what

remove the GEARAspiWDM entry in the UpperFilters value

means.

I found the GEARAaspiWDM entry but I cannot find the UpperFilters.

Please help. I would really appreciate it!

Thank you!

So, I finished those steps.

I also downloaded the Driver_Installer_x86_x64.exe .

I removed the GEAR Driver software.

I had to remove it in order for the Driver to install. I do not know why.

It still shows me the same message.

Now after I ran the diagnostics for the CD/DVD drive test, apple will not recognize a driver to test.

I am the only person using the computer and my account is on administrator so I do not know why that message is showing up on the diagnostic.
